Compliance, honestly
A billing product touches protected health information. ClaimRecover is a hosted service, so we would rather tell you exactly how we handle your data than paste a badge.
A hosted service, built to handle PHI carefully
Your data is processed in the app. You upload your remittances and claims to ClaimRecover and we process them to produce your report. We treat that data as yours, use it only to generate your results, and do not sell it or share it.
It minimizes PHI. Patient names, dates of birth and member IDs are not retained as-is — they are replaced with a per-practice pseudonym at parse time. The 837's date of birth becomes an age at date of service and is then discarded.
It is built to be run safely. Access is gated behind per-practice accounts with multi-factor sign-in, data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and access is logged. A signed BAA is recorded before uploads are enabled.
No compliance theater. We don't display "HIPAA certified" badges — no software is HIPAA certified. Real HIPAA readiness depends on your executed agreements and your own policies as well. We're glad to walk your compliance lead through how the service handles data.

What files does it read?
Your electronic remittances (X12 835) and, ideally, your submitted claims (837P/837I) for line-level corrected claims. It also reads practice-management, fee-schedule and encounter CSV exports. Twelve months of history gives the strongest audit.
What do I get back?
A summary report: a PDF audit of where revenue leaked and why, an exportable XLSX biller worklist ranked by dollar value and deadline, and draft appeal letters and corrected-claim diffs for the denials worth pursuing.
Will it recover the money for me?
